3nd newsletter of the Lados family

We haven’t written anything for a long time so what has been going on with us since then?
Ministry: In the summer the different ministries in the churches go on as they do in the rest of the year. During the mid-week Bible studies we go through the characteristics and features that the church leaders, elders should possess (1 Tim 3:1-7, Tit 1:5-9). On Sundays, the sermons are mainly held according to the Scriptures given in our Baptist Guideline. We also held the youth worship services, sometimes in our home, which was a great blessing and joy for us. The peak of the summer was a youth camp for the youth of our churches. We were able to bring them to a very nice place, called Pere, 200km far from us. 15 people took part in this and I can honestly say, that it was a time, prepared by God for us. On every day in the morning and in the evening, we held our devotions, but also payed attention that everybody had some personal quiet time with the Lord as well. Besides, we did a lot of tours, and had a whole load of fun…sometimes even until dawn, and became great food for our beloved mosquito friends.
In September, every Sunday we had something special. There were thanksgiving services in 3 different places, where our brothers and sisters gave thanks to Christ for what he had done in their lives in the last year. It was a great experience that how reliable the singing choir from Lucfalva is. It was also very nice to see and hear the songs of the youth group at the thanks giving service in Mátraszőlős, and to be able to see a drama, presented by the youth of Mátraszőlős, which was about the grace of Christ.
On the 3rd weekend of September I was officially initiated to a Baptist pastor. The leaders of the Baptist Church of Hungary also represented themselves. We were glad to see our parents and our fellow brothers and friends from Székesfehérvár. It was very interesting that on the next day a had to perform a funeral service. But I seized to opportunity to speak about Christ and encourage the people to repent and give their lives to the Lord.
Family:
Our daughter, Anna is growing very neatly in Anikos’ womb. It is very nice to experience how we start to prepare for the babies’ arrival again. At first our son Beni didn’t really understand his mother growing belly but now we are starting to prepare him to for his sisters’ arrival. The little Lady is expected to be born in January, we are very excited how is she going to look like, and what will it be like, to raise a little girl. Aniko is taking part in the ministry too despite being pregnant. She also cooked some very nice cakes for the thanks giving services.
Before the thanks giving in Salgotarjan, she prepared everything, the food, the cakes, and then in the morning her kidneys were seized with a cramp and I had to take her to the hospital. So me and my son had to take care of the guest speakers, who had lunch at our place. Beni, like a good host immediately started to encourage the little Anna Hetényi, who was the daughter of our guest speaker, his enthusiastic way of eating made her eat too. Aniko was in the hospital for like week, and she is a great help for me. I also want to say that little Ben is always speaking, but he is the only one who understands, but when he suspects if we are not listening, or don’t understand, he starts to yell. There are already some words he knows, for example puff (when something falls down), Apa, Anya (Dad, Mom, but sometimes he mixes up these two), azt (that, I want that but right now) teja (I’m thirsty for tea, I mean tea not water or something else). Besides when he wakes up he runs to the Audio system which means that he wants to listen to music meanwhile hanging out in the swing.
So our summer and September was just awesome! We pray that next year we may be able to go on vacation alone, just the family. That would be very helpful and edifying for our relationship.
God bless all of you!
